Fished BBC Bull Shoals rally on 22 Apr. While everyone else went north and west from Bull Shoals marina, we went towards the dam and went up Howards creek. Went back to the second cove where there were a number of docks on both the north and south side of the cove. Caught 2 keeper LM off the docks on the southside near a brushpile. Largest was 3-12. Caught them both on a Spook Jr. in a baby bass color. Depth of water was about 20 feet, but the fish hit right off the dock. Almost caught a 3rd (smallie), but it didn't hook up. Both LM were caught by 0715. At 0830, the back of the cove exploded with baitfish and I caught about a 2 lb smallie with a baby bass fluke. Water temps were between 64-66 degrees and water was obvioulsy clear.
