    A couple hours on Beaverfork

I'll be darned. There are some good bass in Beaverfork. This one was waiting for a spinnerbait in dirty water.

I told my brother that I look like "Ike" here. I was just shouting at my fans (who are behind the camera) when I took this picture (sat the camera on the rear seat and set the timer). The wind was blowing something fierce out there but, what the heck, it was 72 degrees!

Sounds like you had a good day on the lake.

    Where is Beaver Fork?

That's a nice one Dan. Good for you, looks like you had a pretty good day. I have lived in AR all my life and never even heard of Beaverfork. Where is it located and how large it is?

Beaverfork is just 6 or 7 minutes from my house in West Conway. It's on Rt 25. Go west out of Conway on the Old Morrilton Hwy., 64. Just a quarter mile turn right onto Rt 25. The lakes no more than 2 or 3 miles out. The problem is that it's run by the city of Conway and they charge a fee for use. I'm over 65 so it's only $5.00 a year but I don't know what the rate is for you young guys. I'd guess it's over 1,000 acres ubt, unlike most other lakes around here it has no timber. The only stucture is ridges and breaks on the bottom (and they are many) and grass beds. The allow skiing and jet skis so it's not for summer fishing.

It's just hard for me to pass because it's so close and real easy to get into.
