Anyone fished Monticello lately? I am thinking about going down there this weekend, would like to know if anyones done any good down there since its cooled down. Thanks

Crappie fishing is good right now. Bass fishing kinda slow is what I've been hearing. I have not tried the bass in a while because I've been after the crappie myself. On Dec. 1st we will have to start keeping the first 20 we catch and cannot release any since the size limit will be removed for months Dec., Jan., and Feb. The survival rate after pulling one up from about 40 to 45 feet isn't very good. Their eyes look about like this avatar
