1988 150XP

I'm going to have to replace the powerhead on my 150xp, does anyone know if a 200xp powerhead will drop on?

I don't think so. MAYBE a GT/XP 175 or an older 235 X-Flow will. Champman could tell you for sure

if they are both the crossflow they will be idenical in EVERY way except for the port timming , the 200 will be a bit higher

i have a 1988 150stlcca jhonson gt im aking 2000 i just rehoned the cylinders cleaned all the carb build up added boyseen reeds new gasket set ihave 90 psi on all six cylinders i can send pic if needed or call juan 770 715 9738 i also will have a jhonson 115 1985 for sale for 1300 all motors come with 30 day return im a certified marine i do a good job at a very reasonable price

I don't think there was ever a 200xp/gt produced that was a cross-flow. I am pretty sure they xp/gt's were all loopers. There was a 200 crossflow but it wasn't badged a xp/gt.

I may be wrong, but I think allthe XP/GTCrossflows were:

100, 150, 175, and 2.6 (235+hp)
