We camped at Joe Wheeler this weekend. We fished out of 1st Creek from 6:00pm till about 10:00pm, caught 6 smallmouth(biggest was 3lb) and 4 largemouth all on a shakey head with a tiny beaver from BPS in greenpumpkin. The smallmouth were caught at the mouth of Second creek on the point right next to the lock. We then loaded up and weent to Fleet Harbor and fished from 11:00pm till 3:00am and caught 4 more smallies and 7 largemouth all good keepers with a 4lb largemouth being the biggest, all on the shakey head and beavers also. Fish where caught between Fleet and the dam and straight across from fleet at the barge tie offs. Maybe this will help someone out this week.
