    waterpressure guage

i just bought a 97 storm with a 99 225johnson, when i'm running 5000 rpms the water pressure guage goes past 30psi so i had a new waterpump installed but that did nothing to help, but when i trim the jack plate up the water pressure runs around 25 is this normal?

Yep you can probably go up higher on the plate too just don't let her get below 18 PSI fully trimmed at WOT.

    Re: waterpressure guage (ChampioNman)

mine usually registers from 15-18 max. may have trash in it or something but its always stayed that way no over heats so far so i guess just not quite that exact may need a new one to to compare i guess
    just my thoughts
