Have a few cabelas gift card burnin a hole n my pocket.

Any body have experience with the new GL2's?

Are they made in US? Same lifetime warranty?

I am looking at the MH Crank Bait and Spinnerbait casting rods.

I might consider spending the extra for a Deep Flex or Spinnerbait Specific. I just like the new split grips they seem fairly light and comfortable.

I've got the GL2 7'11" 956 swimbait rod and love it, throw Arigs with it.

I also have the Deep Flex 7'5" H and it too is good.

I would sit tight for as long as you can.... Word from a regional Shimano rep is that they are coming out with a new Deep Flex crankin' rod and NRX specific rods (crankbait/spinnerbait)......
