Finally had time to paint a few baits

These are probably the most detailed I have done so far. i really love the way they came out. The 2.5 in the Sexy Herring is done with the Createx Wicked Fastback Green. It looks blue till you move it then it gets a golden green peralescent to it. It is awesome and I was expecting green when I sprayed it. Finally figuring out layering too. Still have a long way to go but I will get there.

Thanks, I still get discouraged as I see all the great work you all do and i realize I need to step it up. First time I have painted in about 6 months but it will not be the last.

Look pretty good to me Mark. What kind of clear coat are you using on them?

D2T and actually I had heck with it this week. I guess it was reacting different due to cooler temps as I just started painting last summer. It worked fine it was just gummier when I brushed it on than I remember.

Try heating it with a blow dryer before applying it. It will help thin it down a little and help to remove any bubbles.

That is actually what I ended up doing.
