I am experimenting with colors for plastics and read an article that an individual wrote to try smoke colors for certain cold water conditions. I guess my question is what is smoke color, and what colors are mixed to replicate that color?

Plastisol turns clear when heated to pouring temp, smoke is merely clear plastic with very little black coloring added, more or less coloring=lighter or darker smoke. Add any glitter before your color, glitter tends to change most colors by a couple of shades ie watermelon red flake takes a bit more than watermelon black flake (watermelonseed color) due to the different colors relected by the flake.![]()
