I have a loomis crankbait rod, CBR 845 that the reel seat spun on. I was fishing a tourney last fall and ripping a square bill through weeds and it just spins on the blank now. My brother gave me the rod, he bought from a friend. Is there any kind of warranty on it or do I fix it?
You should be able to put some epoxy under it and reglue it. The experts on here will soon chime in.

Thats what i was thinking of doing but not sure exactly how to go about it. I was thinking I could drill a small hole in the reel seat and inject epoxy. Is that correct or no?
I had a St. Croix rod that did that and I took it to a guy that builds and repairs rods and that is exactly what he did. He drilled a small hole in the seat and used a syringe and shot epoxy in the hole and it's good to go.
for about 25.00 to 30.00 bucks you can also have a new handle put on it from a rod shop. that's what I did.came out great.
