I zip tied the stripped Weibe seat on my flippin stick, not real comfortable.
no real fix for that, except the mentioned zip tie or gator tape or glue![]()
thanks, i think ill try epoxy and when the rod breaks i'll buy a new one.
try wrapping electrical tape around the threads. Wrap it pretty tight and go around a couple of times. It SHOULD work for a while longer.
Not a good thing, i know. i just glued the nut in place, hopin the rod dont break anytime soon.![]()
It is most likely the nut and not the actual seat. The best way is to strip the guides and foregrip and replace the nut. Then re-wrap guides and apply finish. While its already stripped, replace with micros and skip the foregrip so the next time you can replace without all the work since the nut will fit over the micros and the rod will be more sensitive without the foregrip due to hand (fingers most likely depending on how you hold your rod) to blank contact.
