    Need some suggestions, please!!

Hey guys, I have never built any baits before due to the fact that I was in the Marine Corps and I was also able to fish all year bc I was stationed in SC and never got snowed in. So my question is what is something to get me started, I want to do something with fishing when I get snowed in this year and thought that I might be able to safe some money if I made my own tackle. Please point me in the right direction as I know that I am going to get restless this winter. Thanks guys.

I guess I need to reword this. What would be good to start with, pouring my own plastics, building jigs or painting my own crankbaits?

if you are going to buy pre-poured (blank) jigs, I'd say that would be easiest. Get some powder paint and some skirts and you're good to go. Otherwise, I would get into painting. You can get a good setup going for painting your own baits for well under $200 and the options are limited only to your imagination.

Great, thanks guys. I have been researching all day and think I am going to start with pouring plastics.
