U-Pol #1 Clear is about $15 a can. It isnt epoxy but it works pretty good. Available at any auto paint supply and some hardware stores.

http://www.predatorbassbaits.com is having a sale, they run straight, if not then they are not being tuned correctly.

Try Basssnax lures. He has Lucky Craft knock offs, sweet lures for the money.

Re: knock off lures and clear coat ??? (Bass Boat TR21x05)

I bought 2 different styles from Predator. The Griffon KO and the Aragon KO. The Aragons ran true 100%, and the Griffons had to be adjusted a bit. That being said, I used polyurethane as a topcoat to experiment with as well as pre-cat lacquer. Neither topcoat has failed me or have I had any issues with cracking etc. Granted, these are NOT the most durable finishes by any means, but I caught fish on both baits and the paint jobs held up exceptionally well for what they were! I did heat cure EVERY single coat and used an adhesion promoter prior to painting...
