Painting in this kind of heat is kind of ROUGH I have been slingin paint trying to come up with different patterns and new techniques. A couple are just messing around colors that I was just mixing paint to see what I could come up with. Paint Slinging is very addictive

    Foiled Yellow Perch

    Foiled Bluegill on a LC Gunfish 90 & 125

    Foiled Threadfin Shad

    Stormy Shad

    Cotton Candy Shad

    Mystic Shad

    Screamin Eagle

    Halo Shad

    Parrot

    Sexy Crappie

    Chartreuse Frog

    Candy Apple Shad

I tried to match Lucky Craft's MS Crack on a few of my baits, they are hard to find in our area.

    CRACK ATTACK

That mystic shad is awesome. That color and the candy apple are my favorites, great work.

You can use all different types of netting for the scales. You can get mesh at hobby lobby for a little of nothing. Get the backs of netting off of dish rags, sponges even wedding vails. You can get scales out of just about anything. I asked my wife where her wedding vail was and she said " DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT"

I got the foil at Stampee Foil and if your wife or mother knows someone that does scrapbooking and owns a cricut cutting machine, they can cut out whatever shapes you want. Here is a link for the foil, I used the holographic silver. They have a lot of colorshifts out in the sun:

    Thanks Chris!!

Believe it or not the smallmouth over this way like the bluegill. I have caught a total of 8 smallies this year and all have came on a redeye shad that I did in the bluegill pattern. I guess they feed on bluegill also, just like the largemouth.
