Another fluid bed Question?

I put my fluidbed together hooked up the pump,put in the filter and powder but nothing happens. I can feel the air flowing but it's not a strong volume. My pump is a small aquarium pump. Could my pump be too small? Is there a site that I can go to that will show me step by step on how to build a fluidbed. I look at all the pics.,read all the threads but I must have something wrong in the set up.
