    Question on premix

    Ok guys its been awhile since i've taken the boat out and had a brain fart and cant find my paperwork on my motor. I have a 94 150 johnson and cant remember the ratio for premix. Any help would be appreciated. Never mind guys i found my booklet.50:1 ratio. 16 nounces to 6 gallons of fuel.

    what happened to your vro?

    they run better with vro ......... variable rate oiling system.

    at idle she only needs around 100:1 at wot (wide open throttle) she needs 50:1. therefor you are better off with vro. that way you dont foul too many plugs when you are just idling around.

    also fuel stabilizer is your best friend if you dont boat regularly....... the blue is better than the red.... saves a lot of headaches down the road.

    outboard engs are so finicky they dont really even like fuel over a couple of months old.... i have had a few tell me so.. not in so many words but you know what i mean.
