    Concept guides ?

Are concept guides different than other guides or is it just the way they are used? Mudhole lists some guides as concept is why I ask.

Second question are they placed statically or some other method?

    Re: Concept guides ? (Munkin)

concept guides are those guides that are found on the majority of rods today. They look this like:

It basically helps in casting distance. The sort of new thing now is micro guides which are basically small concept guides that increases casting distance.

Well it is about the CONCEPT of how they are mounted on the rod. Fuji has used the name for their line of guides but it can be done with any manufacturers guides.

For a nice write up on the method check out this article from RodMaker magazine.
