How do you go about making them. I've done some research on line but can't find what I'm looking for.

Centrifucal mold or some other type mold? Jim at Cast Ind. makes a great centrifucal.
Yes, what do you plan on pouring into the mold soft plastic or lead?

I'll be pouring plastics, mostly craws and creature. looking to make a mold that will produce full body baits, been looking around at aluminum ones, those are pricey and not excactly what I'm looking for, so I thought I might try and make the mold myself.

I'll see if I can get a buddy of mine to post in the thread and explain what he does. I've seen the results afterwards, and they're great!![]()

I think some of his molds for plastics are just made from Plaster of Paris from Home Depot. And he drops in whatever namebrand plastic he wants to replicate before it sets up.![]()

I use plaster of Paris from the hobby shop. It's dirt cheap. I mix it with a little less water then the box calls for because the baits I copy will sink to the bottom if it's too thin. One sided molds are easy. Two sided molds are harder but have better results. To make a two sided mold I use any small box I can find. Like somthing a set of Christmas cards would come in. After I pour in 3/8" of plaster I take the bait to be copied and set it in so half is in and half out. After it sets up I spray paint on the the top. When it dries I sray wd-40 on it and cover it with more plaster. When its dry I pry it open and coat the cavity with plane old elmer's glue a couple of times to seal it.
I have also used the silicon mold kits from lurecraft.net they work great on one sided molds. But at $30 a kit they are kinda high.
Thanks for the responses guys, I'm gonna try something this week. This place it the best for answers
