can someone post how to paint a fin on a bait
can someone post how to paint a fin on a bait
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
If someone else doesn't want to I can. I do them both all paint and with decal details.
This is one with the decal detail:

Tom do you make those decals yourself or can you buy them somewhere?
I make the decals myself. I do the fin drawing in Adobe Illustrator and print out a few hundred at a time on clear decal paper. I got my paper from MicroMark, but their shipping cost is way too high, there are other places that have it. Just search water-slide decal paper. After printing, you shoot the whole sheet with acrylic clear (lightly) and then they are ready to use. I just put the line work on the decal and shoot the color on with a mask. I have had no trouble putting 2 part urethane clear over them, but you may want to experiment with other types of topcoat. For those of you using Createx and DN or D2T, I would spray acrylic clear over the decal-ed bait before topcoating.
Tom, once again thanks for the great info. This hobby is very addicting and your help is great in making it even more fun.
Decal paper or water slide also works great for logos or signatures![]()
