    Wacky Rig weight

Anyone know where you could get this weight?

Obviously, I don't want to get the entire kit, want to use my own hook, but the weight idea is great.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

It don't look like much weight and a bigger ball would reduce the bite on the hook. I like the ring on the bait, but I like my hooks better.

These were the first batch... They look better now. 1/32, 1/16, 3/32, 1/8 oz

    MIke,

That is what I thought also, a buddy of mine was looking for the weight...maybe he needs to talk to you about your hook.

He should be following this post, although he is not a user yet to my knowledge, maybe this will get him off the dime.

Those are the "ring weight" put out by Lake Fork Tackle, they work OK but if a fish rips the bait off the hook, your weight is gone too.

My bad, I didnt realize the ring was also the weight. I saw those a while ago and forgot about them. Looked like more parts to deal with rigging when your catching 100+ fish a day.

    weighinalimit,

The new weights have a slot in them so they are part of the hook. Like Mike said though, that can reduce your gap significatnly. I was checking on this for a buddy, but after seeing more posts...I still think the short shanked weighted hook like Mike's or the Flisckshake from Jackall are a better option.

    Mike,

Not sure I have ever caught 100 in a day, but if thats what you are catching with those...I need some.

Try Lake Fork tackel--they carry that weight.
