To all my fishing friends: I am planning to produce a new DVD this year entitled "George's Guide to...Beginning Rod Building". As an angler or a rod builder, what would you want to see covered in such a DVD? Any information that wish would have been available so you didn't have to learn it the "hard way"? Any and all comments would be welcome.

A super easy way to shape handles without a lathe.I'm just a hobbyist so I can't justify a lathe so I'm doing al of my shaping by hand, and that SUCKS.
George - Suggest a short section on repair. Basic guide R&R, correct method for R&R on a tip top. A brief explanation on epoxies (finishing agent, bonding egent, etc) and which ones are used for what and why. Proper mounting of the different seat types (barrel versus tapered slip, arboring methods, fly seat assemblies). Proper guide prep, blank prep for bonding grip/seat, and starting / ending the wrap. See these type questions come up majority of the time and a lot of folks are like me - Visual Learners. Good luck with the Video.
