    envirotex lite

i covered some lures with this stuff. how long does it take for this stuff to get hard? i know it was mixed right, but doesn't seem to be getting hard. i see in the box drying times, and they are long. i have some that have been this long. but they are not as hard as i would like. could the stuff be bad?

With e-tex I let mine set for 2 days.....
E-tex is very very touchy on the mix so if you got it right(50/50), there are a few other things like complete mixing(stir it for around 2 mins), temp.....don't think that's an issue right now unless your waaaaay North! One thing I always tell people when mixing most epoxys is stir them with wood, the solvent in most epoxys will could eat into what ever you mix with I use popsickle sticks don't think this is your problem.90% of the time with e-tex it will be incorrect mixing ratio or incomplete mixing. Let us know how it settles..

50/50 is crucial as well as mixing well with a wood stick. I use craft flat side and bottom sticks.

E-tex has a different feel about it than say devcon however after a couple of days if you can dent it with your fingernail something is wrong, you can recoat soft baits to harden them
