There are a lot of builders on here who can help you but it would help to know what tools and equipment you have to work with. Will you just be using minimal handtools or do you have a fully equipped shop and do you have any experience in carving or painting?
i have a full shop with all kinds of tools, and have a little carving experience not much, can paint ok, I have made recurve bows before so i figure I can make crankbaits!!!
what pvc are they using for cranks .... I also use lots of swimbaits and yours look awesome.... where do you get your hardware from ???
The Pvc I get from Lowe's and the hardware,except for split rings, I make from stainless steel wire. On crankbaits I make the lips from either Lexan or circuit board.
For wood baits I use balsa, basswood and poplar, with basswood being my favorite.
New to lure making.....What kind of pvc do you use?I`ve painted and made from wood but never pvc. Thanks
