I've been doing a lot of guide replacement and taking foregrips off for friends and I finally got a chance to work on one of my own and play with some different wraps. Nothing special just a little different. This use to be a 6'9" with a full grip and foregrip, now it's a 6'11" split grip with no foregrip.

Great job! You obviously have done an excellent job on converting your rod! I'm sure your friends must be delighted with their rod conversions. What thread did you use in the center of your split rear grip?

The funky looking thread is Gudebrod Trimar black/silver. I actually wrapped the rod 3 times because to much of that thread is LOUD.I just kept taking a little out until it didn't look like some kind of 70's disco thing. And a big thank you to you George. The artical on your website is what I used to go by.
