Question on Air Brush Cleaner..

What can you use if you don't have Air Brush cleaner to clean the gun with..
Acrylic paint is being used..

Terry, I use 50/50 mix of water and Windex to thin paint and to clean my airbrushes when shooting acrylics.

Thanks for your help.. I just picked up a compressor and a dual stage gun and 26 bottles of paint along with some other goodies off the board here.. This is my first setup so I will be in the learning stages for a while.. The compressor is a Iwata Silver Jet and the brush is a Badger 100G..

Terry, not trying to be a smart azz, but if you're totally new to airbrushing you owe it to your sanity to read up some of the tips & stuff on http://www.howtoairbrush.com I learned alot from it & if you want to practice cheap...get some food coloring & blank newsprint paper. You can shoot water/food coloring mix to learn trigger control, fan & spray adjustment, etc really cheap. Plus ya won't be fighting paint that's too thick while learning. There's also some great info from lure painters who hang out @ http://www.tackleunderground.com in the hardbait forum.

Thanks a bunch.. I have two lures painted up so far but I have several hours in each one and they are not as good as I would like.. I am going to fish with them so the fish are not going to get a ton of detail right now..
