Matt, you can use just about any compressor & it'll work out fine as airbrushes don't draw much in CFM, just be SURE to use a moisture trap! A single action has a single acting button that releases air & paint as you press it, a double action has a single button that (in most cases) depresses to release air and slides forward & backward to control paint flow.
so I would guess that a dual action would be better (same price so duh) i don't have any kind of comp. I was just going to buy one that would work with what I need

...Matt....what Limit said....but I do think a single action is easier for a beginner to use....I have both and feel more confident with my old single action for more detailed work....Thats just my .03
