    new jigs (first try)

    Here's some of the jigs I have been working on. Let me know what you think. You won't hurt my feelings

    look pretty good.....Personally speaking........instead of using jig collars like you did you might want to try tying your jig skirts to the jigheads.............
    I dont know about other jig fishermen but I prefer jigs that have the skirt tied on rather than with a collar..........They hold much better on the jig this way..........

    If your not familiar with tying the skirt to the jighead.............get yourself a bobbin

    another suggestion would be to leave the upper portion of the skirt a bit longer....say 3/8-1/2" in length

    They look great. The fish will gobble any of them up. I do agree with tying the skirts on though. I use 22-24 gauge copper craft wire. only use two wraps, pull hard, twist and cut.

    Those look great ! Now get out and use them. There is nothing more satisfying than catching fish on a lure you made yourself.

    i like to use a zip tie on mine those look great
    Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

    you will get some more just keep your pants on besides you can't caughtany fish on them anyways
