    Thread Master

I have another question about Thread Master. Can you use more than one coat of it and if so how do you do it? Is it just like Flex Coat? Thanks Ryan

You can use as many coats as you want. Just be sure to add the second within 24 hrs yet not before the previous the coat had dried to a firm tackiness. Usually you can add another coat in 8 hrs at 72F.

It has been longer than 24 hours is it too late? Is there anything you can do to add another coat, I am repairing a rod for a friend. I have just one coat and would like to put at least two on it. Thanks Ryan.

lightly scuff with scotchbrite pad and do another coat. you are good to go after that, I can't imagine threadmaster ever needing more than two coats, and I can 95% of the time get done with one coat.
