    Re: Pat Powell (worm-maker)

I used the Basic Stik forumula:

In a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup mix:
    1 cups of Calhoun Plastic.
    1/4 cup Calhoun Softener
Add colors (before heat or after)
put in the microwave till the plastic is ready to pour (follow the microwave instructions)
then take a teaspoon and slowly stir while adding in 1/2 cup of salt (salt works best when its gound in a blender tp a light powder).

And added 10 drops of black grape. Next time Im going to do 20 drops of the black grape. Good or bad idea?

Yes it is! Not a bad kit, but I recommend getting extra colors and glitter to start!

I would try both, I like that color you have now. Looks like a good clear water color

Jimmy, those look great!!!! Yeah, the kit is a tease. I got the color set also.
What colors did you get? If you just want to darken them, you can also add a couple drops of black.

    For colors I got:
    motor oil
    Light Watermelon
    and Black Grape.

Any recipes for the motor oil?

For glitter I got red flake and 2 sizes of black flake.

Next Batch! I was being a little cheap with the glitter!

I tried to be slick and hit the local craft store for some colorant and glitter. Glitter melted, colorant came out crappy. Lessons learned.

For 4 oz. of plastic, use about 8 to 15 drops of motor oil. Depending on how much salt you use. The more salt, the more color you need.

    Those green ones look great!!!
