I got some living rubber, in the frog hair type. It came in the big long thick strands of it. How do I separate the individual strands, because there has to be a way besides pulling them apart one by one.

You put the jig in a vice, pull the strip in half or thirds. Then grab the end of the strip, pull it real tight. Then take a pair of dull or used scissors and cut right close to your fingers. The rubber will shoot back to the bait one at a time. After a while you will be amazed how fast you can do this. If you go too fast at first, You will have a few strands stuck together. Pulling real tight is a big key.![]()

21DX nailed it. If you do have some strands stick together, take a comb that the strands will fit between and comb it out, it will make the skirt look alot better too.
Use 4 inch black electrical ties and your skirts will stay put on those jigs for years.
