I have a BPS Bionic blade IM8 spinning rod and a XPS Performance Graphite IM8 bait casting rod, both have cork handles with the screw on butt caps for the balance weights.
I would like to shorten both of them about 2-3 inches ( as my arms have become about 2-3 inches shorter, or has my belly grown 2-3 inches ).
Is this possible to do without ruining the rods?
