    Re: badger air brush (rustimus)

Rusty I think it’s a matter of preference. They both make good brushes.
I personally use Badger right now and they work fine but my next will be a Iwata.

    Re: badger air brush (maddoxbay)

thanks-I have a single action paasche and a duel action speedaire now. I know where I can buy a dual action badger and a single action badger and a few paint for 125-was just wondering if they were worth it.

    What models are they?

If they are both working thats not too bad of a deal. Do they come with extra needels and hoses?

one is the anthem 155-1 and the single action has only the fine needle

    Hey, KB!

What model Iwata are you using?

I have a Paasche model V (1/2 the size of the VL) and I'm tired of not being able to paint fine lines like red gills. So I've been looking at the Iwatas.

Can you paint real thin lines (kinda like pencil lines instead of marker lines) without using a stencil?

    Thanks in advance,

    CVX21

kb here i bought a hp-b+ iwata i cant get it down to a pencil line but damn close
from the badger i had there is no comparison the iwata atomizes the paint a lot more realy flows out nice when you are painting 3 or more colors you can get a definate line between colors with little overspray iwata from one color to another.

I'll second what kb said I just went from Paasche to Iwata, the paasche got the job done but nothing like the Iwata the paint flows so much better it's unreal

    Re: (Ky 521)

    KB & Ky 521,

Thanks for the input, guys! You've convinced me to upgrade to the Iwata. I'm going to the art store tomorrow and hopefully they have one in stock.

    Thanks again!
