    Prep for paint.

I just bought some cranks that were on sell real cheap and wanted to try my hand at painting them.

How do you guy prep these already painted baits for my painting?

Depends on how much work you want to do(2 different schools of thought here) I would scuff the paint and shoot over the top however you can remove all the paint and start over and get a nice job also

So far I have just scuffed the paint. Im using just rattle cans right now. Just playing for the most part.

How would I take off all the paint?

I'll carefully rub the bait with acetone only on the paint keeping it off the bill trying to remove some of the old epoxy....then sand
