#1 Can I take the jig straight out of the mold and dip it in the powder coat? Will it be hot enough?

I made some with, some without. I don't always like them. I have about 2 dozen unpainted with weedguards in 1/4 and 3/8 ounce. I like the head style and the wide gap hook.

(Dont need a weed guard, if ya aint fishin in weeds!!)
Did you oven cure your paint to harden it? If you do, remember to clean out the hook eyes before curing or you will have a hard time getting the paint out.

Yes, that is a Poison Tail. The guy that posted above you Luke is a friend of mine named Jeff and knows everything about making this kind of stuff. He makes the best jigs and spinnerbaits I have ever seen, and so I am taking lots of his advice learning this stuff
