Basic question for rodbuilders ???

What thread & epoxy coating would y'all recommend to add hook hangers to some of my rods without them?

Go with the tried and true Gudebrod thread as more than likely that is what was used at the factory for your rods. One thing to remember is whether or not the mfg used a standard nylon or a NCP(no color preserver required) thread.

I use a new rod finish on the market now called Threadmaster and its pretty much foolproof..............Can be purchase through a few of the rod supply places now or direct from the person who had it produced.
