I tried cutting it but that take forever with not a lot of progress.![]()

explain more about where the piece is missing... is it in the foregrip? butt portion?
repairing cork is pretty simple, if you have some rings and know what to do...
If you just want to fill a hole, scrape out the hole to be filled so you have a clean working surface. Take a file and make a bunch of cork dust. mix the dust with some wood glue. Make the mixture thick (more dust than glue). Pack the mixture down in the hole making sure there are no bubbles underneath. Dont worry about making it nice and smooth. After it is dry 24hrs, file off the rough stuff then work your way down from 80 grit sandpaper to 500 grit paper.
Good as new.

Thanks for the info. I want to try and fill the hole. It is just behind the reel seat, and I don't want to take it apart to try and put rings on yet.
