I dont personally but my buddy has thrown one that time of year and caught a few. He rigged it so the nose of the bait came well past the knot (the hook was closer to the middle of the bait so it would sink horizontally, he did not use a weight) with a real big hook to help the sink rate, and let it sink about to the bottom. He would lift his rod and let it sink back down. As I'm sure you know the senkos rock a little when falling weightless and thats what triggered his strikes.
I've done real good in cold water dead sticking a wacky rigged trick worm on a light wire hook. I bet a senko would just as well. Just be sure to use a light wire hook and fish it extremely SLOW.
It dose not work at all, don't bother. In fact send me your senko's since they are useless.
yes .....don't use senko's at all ....if you are in a tx that I'am fishing in ....really... there's not at good time to use themyes .I will take your senkos now... sir.... .and yes I will pay the shipping .
if you want big fish... fish them yr round ......if not catching ...start senkoing
