Fished the Yumbrella rig for the first time this morning. Have had success previously with the $25 Mann's original A-rig and the $11 Tackle Trap rig. For some reason, didn't catch anything in the usual locations...? After a couple of hours switched to a shakey head worm and caught 3 that all weighed about 2bs. The only difference in conditions is that the water has warmed up from the mid-50s to 60 degrees. Will try the Yumbrella rig again, can't believe the fish can tell the difference. To answer your original question: I use 50# Spiderwire or Power Pro

In my experiences the fish do not care what type of rig you throw. I've had great success with the umbrella rig and I tried all of them and homemade rigs. Umbrella rig is my favorite and half the cost of the manns.
