Can anyone tell me if the fuel injectors are the same on a 01 DI Ficth evinrude model no. E225FHLSIF as a 04 225 Evinrude DI . I believe model nos. are different but will they interchange ?

There are internal differences, I know, and you can't exchange injectors unless you have the factory new or DFI Technologies generated software disk to install them.

Thank you Seahorse, I am trying to find out the engine model no. of the 04 being parted out here on BBC motor parts. Mabe that would help.
I was told 2001 evinrude went to a better grade of injector and was hopeing they stuck with it through 04. I then would contact DFI. I have the diagnostic software and think I could instal it after sending it to them.
