    Carolina Rigging a Crankbait

Saw something about this on the internet, wasnt sure if anyone here has heard of it or tried it. If so what are you using for a set up? I am very interested in some pictures of the set ups!

Have caught fish on jerkbait tied to a c-rig.

I have...but I find it just as easy to apply some lead tape to the crankbait and let it sink down before retrieving it...it get's way down there like that.

I use the c-rig and jerkbait to fish deep shad schools in mid channel at LOZ. The schools are suspended at 25-45 ft. The c-rig and jerkbait will get down that deep. Count it down and swim it back.

    shhhhhhh
Small floating minnow baits are VERY effective....AC SHiners, #5 Floating Original Rapalas etc... fish em slow and occasionally pop the sinker up in the water column...works for me.
