Carburetor settings ?

I need the carburetor needle settings for a model number CD 19s serial no 2244480 evenrude outboard it has 2 jets one on the top and one on the bowl It looks to be a 1962.thanks in advance

Wow that goes back a long way but if I remember right, 1/2-3/4 turns on the top and 3/4-1.5 on the bottom. Mix should be 25:1 for that model year.

Back the top one out one turn then once the engine warms adjust the needle between spitting and slowing.

Once you get the engine running at wide open adjust the lower needle to get the maximum wide open speed.

nks Elgin.The evenrude is running perfect now and I an waiting on an impeller for the Johnson.What threw me was when I took the carb off the Johnson the top screw was 4.5 turnes out
