Do you Set the hook on soft plastics straight up or to the side????? Reason I ask is the past 2 trips out I have been fishing weight less texas rigged senko and I have lost several good fish I usually kinda walk the dog and set the hook to the side and bout half way in I loose them whats the deal... I give them plenty of time from when they hit it and I usually sit down hard on them when I set the hook but I generally do it to the side and I was just wondering is that wrong and is that my problem???????????????
