When fishing some of the smaller lakes in the NorthEeast do you feel confident throwing 2.5 size square bills? Knowing we don't have quite the average fish size they have in the south, I'm haveing a hard time convincing myself to throw one this year.Always want to reach for the 1.5's. But the 2.5's seem to be the more preferred bait.I know having confidence in your presentation is a big part of fishing so I guess I just want to know if they're worth a try.
By smaller lakes I mean Candlewood,Black Lake, and some of the lakes in Maine.
