I have a tournament coming up on Lake GAston, NC, And I NEED HELP.. March 3rd

A friend of mine that fishes that lake said this time of year to throw a number 5 Sexy Shad or Chartruce sexy shad Strike King crankbait !!!!! He claims that it won him a tourney there last March....

personally I would fish the nc side from eaton ferry bridge down to stonehouse and then go back and do it again 1/2oz blue glimmer spinnerbait with gold willows gold foil #8 shad rap and a chartreuse brown crawfish 1/4oz speed trap and a 3/8 or 1/2oz black/blue or solid brown jig both with matching trailers I religiously fish all of those points and pockets thoroughly I have won several tournaments on that stretch and had a 5th place in the Anglers Choice there last year

get bigger arms!!!! the a rig would be perfect for all of those points I never fish deeper than 10-12ft at gaston in the spring those fish in my area seem to pull up first

just make you a C02 rod & reel....cockit fire out there about 200ft ...get about 5 cast to cartage of C02 no arm's ..just pull the triger ....could see at bps next week ....I bet people would buy it .

you dont want stumps at gaston until early april so stick with points, areas with stalky grass, and docks with ladders these will be your best bets
