Running depth of Lucky Craft RC baits

What kind of running depth can expect from the following Lucky Craft RC cranks with 10-12# flouro? They list them all at 0'-4'.

    RC 0.5
    RC 1.5
    RC 2

Depends a lot on line size, length of cast, and rod position...

Generally I throw the 1.5 and 2.5 on 17lb or 20# mono. They'll run 4' on a long cast with 17 but I can hold my tip up and make a short cast and run em 2' or less.

With 12# or 15# flouro you can hit 5.5', maybe 6', or so on a long cast with a 1.5. It's my opinion the 2.5 won't run as deep. Same with a 3.5, they both have a lot of buoyancy and I guess it affects the max depth they'll run. But I have always thrown these on big line.

The 0.5 doesn't cast worth chit on heavy line so 12# usually gets it for me. From the limited times I've thrown it I'd guess it'll run 4'.

But to me a sq bill is a shallow target bait (the reason I'm throwing 17 and 20lb line) and if I want to run 6' I'll choose something else that'll easily hit it on an average cast.

Not sure what they'd do on 10# flouro because I would quickly lose every one I own. I have no fear throwing into the middle of anything with these baits.

So I should think about going up to at least 15#. I like heavier line better but was wondering if they would get down in the 3-5' range with that.

FF, have you ever thrown the RC 2 ? Would you think that would be about the same as the RC 2.5 only a smaller profile?

I don't see a 3.5 listed.Unless BPS chose not to carry it.

IDK about the 2. Never have bought one of them but I would guess that it runs about the same depth as all the others. I think the difference in any of them is the size of the bait. I think the depth is going to be about the same on all... The 1.5, 2.5, and 3.5 will run in between 3'-5' all day with 15# test.

BPS still has the 3.5, it's bigger. It's 3 1/4" and 3/4oz. I will say it seems like the larger ones like the 2.5 and the 3.5 have a wider bobble than the 1.5 but they have quite a bit larger profile compared to the 1.5 and are much wider baits.

Rod position and cast length will be huge determinig factors. They will fish 1"-6'-ish
