swim a huddleson 6 inch soft swimbait. the 12 foot sink version
At that water temp, they'd have no trouble coming up a little to eat a jerkbait, or you could run a swimbait or crankbait into them.

One thing I need to get better at is making good choices on the water. I did throw a jighead and grub through them and they scattered. Never could mark them again. Maybe I was too close.
Thanks guys!! Live and learn. I have about $500 worth of each of those baits you suggested in the boat.![]()
Thanks again!!

i would agree with the jerkbait an/or crank. The jerkbait idea wouldnt be bad either if you could it at the right depth or just above them.
A flutter spoon would catch them as well.

As for those fish, other things you might try would be a wacky-rigged Senko (weightless) or a Jackal Flick Shake worm (5.8") w/ a very light head (3/32oz). Both techniques work extremely well on suspended fish.

Don't you have to throw the Fish Head Spin if you live in Georgia?

Road runners can produce in that situation.
Rest in Peace Buddy Poche - Bayou Bullet.
I will miss you my dear friend.
As shallow as they are in clear water - Jerkbait or whacky rigged senko. Long cast away from the school.
if thats lanier try a mcrip from spro or a fish head spin.this time of year go with a jerk bait of some kind. try a rooster tail in 1/2 oz that might work.
