I am going to replace the hooks on my dt-16's which now use 3's any suggestions on size or brand? same for my dd-22's and poe's. The rapala use's 3's and no-one sells them just 4's I am open to suggestions

On the DT-16s, DD22s, etc., I would have no problems going to #2 trebles for baits that size. That said, I LOVE the size 3 trebles for slightly smaller baits (squarebill cranks, Pointer 100s, etc.), and they are available if you look hard enough. Check out the VMC/Rapala 4650 series of trebles. They are offered in a size 3 and come in either black nickel or red. GREAT hooks!
