I rig a double fluke by tying a 18" to 2' leader off of the hook of the first rig. I'll typically tie it off to the bend in the hook. I also like to rig treble stingers on both flukes if fishing open enough water for the treble to not be a problem.

Tie short leader to swivel and fluke.
Slide this onto main line but don't tie, so it slides up and down main line.
Tie second swivel to main line.
Tie long leader and fluke on the swivel attached to main line.

This is how I do it also. They say it has better action this way... But "they" say a lot of chit sometimes.![]()
I just don't care for all the components when you start adding swivels and such. It goes from a 1 minute rig to a 5 minute rig when you do that. But that's just me..![]()

What about a bead between the swivel that slides and a the knot on the mainline swivel? Just wondering if it would get frayed....but then again I guess the line would too.
I throw it on 30# braid main line if I throw it. The swivel hole is big enough it doesn't fray it badly and the knot is through the ring. So unlike a bead sitting against the knot it doesn't have anything on it. Plus there is no weight crashing against it like on a C-rig. I think it's good without a bead.![]()
I use 15# invisix on a baitcasting reel. I tie the first 1 ought Owner sicle hook on with a Palomar and pass the line through the eye a la dropshot. drop down a foot and do another one, drop down another foot and tie on a 2 ought light wire off set worm hook. I bait the first two hooks with tiny flukes and the last with a super fluke. Yep it's a triple fluke rig. I have tripled several times BUTi have broken off many times as well.
I bet this guy would know. I think I've heard of him before.
This is how I do mine. I do not use a barrel swivel. I use a Spro Power Swivel (Just my choice). Easy to do and I have had a few doubles on...BUT boated only 2. It works for me.
