    buzzing plastics

looking for info/ ideas other than buzz frogs for shallow weedy water. Ive used twin tails with some success, interested in swimming, ripping and buzzing the bait. Have not tried baits like the skinny dipper, gambler flappin shad or zoom speed worm yet but I think something along these lines is what im looking for. Any other options or ideas? It needs to have some weight to it for casting gear and prefered t-rigged/ weightless

    Re: buzzing plastics (ccm)

the baits you mentioned are staples here in fla.the skinny dipper is one of the hottest fish catching baits in grass or pads goin right now.its heavy enough to fish weightless but a small weight helps the action and allows you to fish it just under the surface which is where i feel its most effective.the mag. ultra vibe is a big bass bait that draws big fish to it.again i almost always use a weight w/ it so i can get it under the water.i have used the flappin shad but the buzz tail shad by producto in the 4'' is killer.its light weight and weightless may be hard to throw.i have no problem but some might.you want to buzz it but the just right speed is necessary.the only other baits you may want to try is a chatterbait type bait and a nemire spoon or spoon buzzer.
sometimes they want the frog but they always want one of the above mentioned baits.
