    Knot Help

I just cant seem to get a knot to work with flourocarbon. What knot are you guys using? I have used palmar and San Diego jam knot. I am not sure if its the way I tie it or the line or the knot itself. I have used McCoy and Trilene 100% and just ordered some vicious and the vicious line spray to maybe lube the knot better. Any help would be great.

Palomar for me with Trilene 100% on 15lb. and up,Trilene knot on the smaller stuff. Haven't had any trouble with this, but found the Palomar to be much less effective on the smaller lines. Moisten each "just a little" before cinching.

The Fishin Fool or the Double San Diego Jam. Make sure the lines are parallel to each other while tying or it will cut itself. Use plenty of lube(spit), tighten slowly. Do a search for Fishin Fool knot or the Double San Diego is featured on Wired2Fish with Shaw Grigsby tying it.
